This bonus Field Day saw BMV work side by side with the Willunga Hills Face Landcare and SA Water to plant an upstream site that drains into the Aldinga Washpool Conservation Area - a rare emphemeral freshwater wetland and one of Adelaide's last remaining coastal freshwater and estuarine lagoon systems.

Bec Hardy actively contributing to making McLaren Vale the greenest wine region in Australia by planting 1200 native species in her dry grown Blewitt Springs Vineyard.

We like to celebrate the small wins, that’s part of our culture at BMV. So to mark our 10th Birthday, what better way to do it than with a bit of planting, a bit of weeding and a bit of feeding!

As a long-term Planting Partner, we couldn’t have thought of a better place to celebrate our birthday than at Gemtree! Mel Brown is a leader in the Biodynamic Viticulture space and continues her passion of healing the land with the help of BMV!

Whats your favorite thing about our Field Days?

The Lower Tintara Vineyard has been in the Hardy family since 1881. Fast forward to 2024 and BMV has come onboard to help John and Helen Hardy resurrect their property, starting by pulling boneseed in the remnant Grey Box Grassy Woodland portion of the site.

Mish and Wade started SKER in their backyard in 2018. Since then they continue to build the rescue facilities and provide treatment for injured or sick wildlife across the region. Part of this plan is the regeneration of the property that helps make all this possible.

Gemtree - where producing exceptional grapes and wine go hand in hand with regenerating and revegetating the landscape. Mel and Mike Brown are true custodians of the land!

Welcoming on board our new Planting Partner Mollydooker where we get to work prepping the olive infested creekline for planting next month. It’s all guns blazing with this fabulous female duo at the helm! Welcome Sarah and Holly Marquis!

We had it all - coffee cart, live music, food and an award ceremony! Oh, and not to forget the 100 volunteers that showed up to put 2000 plants in the ground at the first planting for the 24 season!
